About The Event

Manga are comics or graphic novels created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century. The term manga in Japan is a word used to refer to both comics and cartooning.

Delaware County District Librarian, Mandy Hennings leads a manga book discussion with middle school students. Every student that attends receives a Manga book.

This book discussion precedes Anime Club. Students are welcome to attend Anime Club afterwards - no registration for Anime Club required. They will be watching "Spirited Away."
