About The Event

Middle School students are invited to participate in several community service projects around Downtown Delaware.  The day begins in the Middle School Teen Community Room (205), where we will discuss projects and determine assignments.  Small groups of six, chaperoned by two staff/volunteers will walk to one location for an hour of community service, which include:

  • Andrews House,
  • Ohio Living Sarah Moore,
  • The Arts Castle
  • or stay at Strengthening Families Hub.

After completing service tasks, all groups reconvene at the Delaware District Main Library (Winter Street).  Librarians will give students an "insider" tour, break up for a service project at the library, followed by lunch (provided by the library).  At the conclusion students will either be picked up at the library or at Wills.

Confirmation email to follow with details.

Thanks to Connections Volunteer Center and the Delaware County District Libraries!
